From the HOLY CRAP in bold department:
RENO, Nevada (PRNewswire) – There were 700 of them when it all started, word experts from 6 coun-tries and 45 states. After five days and 28 rounds of Scrabble, it was down to two: David Wiegand, 31, a mortgage underwriter from Portland, Oregon and Panupol Sujjayakorn, 20, a student from Bangkok, Thai-land. They played an astonishing best-of-five final match with Wiegand winning the last game 529-331 after falling behind 0-2. Sujjayakorn is the current World Scrabble Champion, while Weigand's previous best performance was 2nd at the 1994 National Scrabble Championship (NSC). Among Wiegand's plays were “keets” (a guinea fowl) and “aulic” (pertaining to a royal court). The National Scrabble Championship is considered the world's premiere event among 500 official tournaments played internationally each year. This year's NSC boasted a field that included 9 former world and National champions. Sujjayakorn is a particularly brilliant player, as his English is rudimentary at best. To train, he memorized the entire 120,000 word Official Scrabble Player's Dictionary. The play with live commentary was followed online at http://www.scrabbleassociation.com, which received nearly 4 million hits during the event. The final match will be telecast on ESPN later this year.

"The Bottom Line:
Because Pom Poko is bizarre, generally slow, and features a baffling number of raccoon scrotums, I can't recommend it to general audiences or kids. This one is for animation fans only."

5/19/04, Commencement Address by Bono - Almanac Between Issues: "I didn't expect change to come so slow, so agonizingly slow. I didn't realize that the biggest obstacle to political and social progress wasn't the Free Masons, or the Establishment, or the boot heal of whatever you consider 'the Man' to be, it was something much more subtle. As the Provost just referred to, a combination of our own indifference and the Kafkaesque labyrinth of 'no's you encounter as people vanish down the corridors of bureaucracy. "

FlyLittleBird >> Richie Sambora 5/6/2004: "Other - Just Plain Funny
In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you all referred to me as Doctor Sambora for now on (and I'll be asking my wife to do the same, since I've already bought her the nurse's uniform!)

A replica Viking longboat made out of 15 million ice cream sticks has been launched in Amsterdam harbour.
The ship was painstakingly glued together by former Hollywood stuntman Robert McDonald and two friends - a job that took two years.
The sticks were collected by children all over the world. Mr McDonald is claiming the world record for the biggest boat made that way.

One could argue that I am only including this link because it includes 2 of the most popular search terms on the planet right now.
Yes, one could argue that using GEICO and GEICO DIRECT would be a transparent attempt to draw traffic to my site for the Google Adsense revenue.
A US district court has ruled against Google in a trade mark action over the sale of the terms “Geico” and “Geico Direct” in AdWords, its keyword advertising service. The judge found that there was infringement where the terms were used in the text of sponsored ads.
Car insurance firm GEICO sued both Google and Yahoo! subsidiary Overture in May 2004 over the sale of its registered trade marks as sponsored search terms in the keyword advertising services of both search engines.

I may get some of these to use for storage. I seeme to collect little piles of things that don't really fit anywhere but don't need to be discarded.

SWM in dead-end job seeks dumpy neurotic for mutual psychological torture, tepid sex, and co-dependency. I enjoy drinking, smoking, pornography, and self-righteous indignation.
I can't stand movies, and the last album I bought was The Marshall Tucker Band's Greatest Hits. I have middling intelligence but try to appear smarter by affecting a world-weary air, memorizing useless facts, and chuckling at my own mean-spirited, agenda-driven jokes.
I'm 40, but look 50 and feel 60. You are a whiny, bitter shrew with a misplaced sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations. In time you will become coolly hostile when I don't fulfill every unmet need you've ever had. Bonus points if you just finished screwing every guy in town and but now want to take it slow with me.
My perfect night would include getting hammered in a sleazy bar while you flirt with seedy old drunks, followed by an embarrassing screaming match. I would be open to an unsatisfying fling that leaves me filled with regret and dread but prefer a long-term, soul crushing descent into booze and pills. No friendships. I don't need any goddamn friends.
Age unimportant, but I will condescend to women under 30 and rehash mother issues with women over 40.
Serious replies only, please.
